Brent Council commissioned Ubuntu Pledge to deliver a tailored train-the-trainer programme for Brent Health Matters staff, sharing insights from our experience with the NHS App.
Following the success of the NHS App pilot programme, Brent Health Matters commissioned Ubuntu Pledge to deliver a series of tailored training sessions for their staff. The goal was to implement a train-the-trainer approach, equipping frontline professionals with the tools and confidence to become digital health ambassadors. By strengthening the digital capability of those already embedded within the community, the programme aimed to improve access, understanding, and uptake of the NHS App among residents.
Ubuntu Pledge designed and delivered three bespoke training sessions, including one in collaboration with Brent Libraries and two with the Brent Health Matters team. These sessions went beyond technical instruction — they were built to foster a deeper understanding of digital health inclusion, with a strong focus on community engagement, empathy, and practical delivery.
