Responding to high demand from Westminster's underserved communities, Ubuntu Pledge launched a two-week online accelerator program focused on essential to medium-level online safety, equipping participants with practical skills to navigate the digital world securely.
Following the success of our broader digital inclusion efforts, it became clear that online safety was a critical and highly sought-after skill in Westminster's underserved communities. Residents expressed a strong desire for more in-depth knowledge to confidently manage their online interactions.
To meet this need, we designed and delivered a focused, two-week in-person accelerator program specifically dedicated to providing practical, basic to medium-level online safety training.
This intensive online program provided a deep dive into crucial online safety topics. It was structured to be responsive and highly practical, addressing common concerns and building robust defense mechanisms for participants in their daily online interactions.

Building on the success of this online safety accelerator, Ubuntu Pledge plans to continue developing focused, short-term online programs that address specific, high-demand digital skills. We aim to integrate these essential to medium-level online safety modules into ongoing digital inclusion initiatives and explore partnerships for wider reach and impact.
Wellbeing Through Art is a creative wellbeing programme that combines life coaching with artistic expression. Using the Wheel of Life, participants reflect on key life areas through hands-on, empowering activities that support healing, balance, and self-discovery.
Westminster Libraries partnered with Ubuntu Pledge to offer a digital inclusion program, empowering underserved communities with essential digital skills, online safety and creative tools for long-term confidence.
Building on the proven success of both the pilot and the staff training projects, NHS North West London commissioned Ubuntu Pledge for a second major rollout of NHS App training.
