Programme Description

Online Safety training is a 5-week course designed to help families and older adults build the confidence and knowledge needed to stay safe in today’s digital world. As technology becomes more embedded in daily life, the risks of online scams, misinformation, identity theft, and digital overexposure are increasing — often leaving adults feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to respond.

This course offers a clear, supportive space to understand those risks and take action. Participants will learn how to protect personal information, create strong passwords, secure devices, and manage social media privacy settings. The course also explores how to set healthy digital boundaries at home and support children and teens in developing safe, responsible tech habits. Whether you're a parent trying to protect your children or an older adult looking to improve your digital confidence, this course will leave you feeling more aware, better equipped, and in control of your online world.
